DRDO INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR ENTRY TEST INTO SCIENTIST-` B '
THROUGH DRDO SCIENTIST ENTRY TEST (DRDO SET) - 2006

1. ELIGIBILITY

a. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Atleast first class Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Computer
Science & Engg/ Electronics & Communication Engg/ Mechanical Engg /
First class in Electrical Engineering or first class Master's degree
in Physics/Maths from a recognized University or equivalent in the
respective relevant disciplines.

b. AGE LIMIT

The upper age limit is 28 years . It is relaxable upto30 years for
SC/ST/OBC/Handicapped candidates.

2. SET - 2006

After ensuring that the above eligibility conditions are satisfied,
candidates are required to apply for Application Form specified for
DRDO SET - 2006. These application forms with the information
brochure containing the syllabus and instructions for filling the
application will be available at the designated Branches of State
Bank of India as per the advertisement (visit www.drdo.org) from 8th
May 2006 to 5th June 2006 for General/OBC candidates on payment of
Rs. 300/- and for SC/ST candidates on payment of Rs 100/- only.
Forms purchased from the designated Branches of State Bank of India
should be filled in accordance with the instructions given in
information brochure and should be submitted to The Director,
Recruitment & Assessment Centre, Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi ?
110054.

3. DATE & TIME OF DRDO SET - 2006: 3rd September 2006 ;

4. Centres FOR SET-2006
Agra, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi,
Guwahati, Gwalior, Hamirpur, Hyderabad, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Kanpur,
Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Surat

Candidates are advised to obtain the application forms from
designated branches of State Bank of India only. However, in case of
any difficulty in obtaining the application form, the request may be
sent to Director Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC), Lucknow
Road, Timarpur, Delhi-110054 by enclosing a crossed demand draft for
Rs. 350/- General/OBC and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST candidates, in favour
of "Director RAC", payable at Delhi. The request for obtaining the
form must reach to Director RAC, Lucknow Road , Timarpur, Delhi-
110054 , accompanied with two self addressed white slips of size 4"
x 3". The envelope must indicate "REQUEST FOR APPLICATION FORM ADVT
NO. ? 78". The candidate must write his name and address at the back
of demand draft.
