(JOBS) SSC Recruitment of Junior Engineers (Civil & Mechanical) : 2011

Staff Selection Commission will hold All India Selection for recruitment to the posts of JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL & MECHANICAL) in CWC and JUNIOR ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL) in Department of Posts . The Examination will comprise of a Written Examination followed by Interview. Analogous posts in other Ministries/Departments other than JE(Civil/Electrical) in CPWD and MES and JE (Civil) in Department of Posts and Farakka Barrage may also be filled up from this Selection.

Job Description:

JUNIOR ENGINEERS ( CIVIL & MECHANICAL)

• Vacancies: 142 posts (Civil-99 and Mechanical-43) in CWC and 18 posts in Department of Posts (Electrical-18).
• Age Limit: 18-27 years. Relaxation as per Govt. rules.
• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an institution recognized by Govt. of India or equivalent qualification.

Application Fee:

Rs. 100/- in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women and Ex-servicemen candidates.

CENTRE OF EXAMINATION AND ADDRESS TO WHICH APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE SENT:

A candidate must select only one of the Centres given below for the examination and must submit his / her application at the address mentioned below. No action will be taken on application received in any other Regional Offices of the Commission.
