Central Water Commission(CWC) Recruits Degree or Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering Candidates In 2010

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for appointment to the post of Junior Engineer (Civil & Mechanical)(Physically Handicapped) from General category (01 No.) with 40% disability:

Junior Engineer (Civil/Mechanical)

• Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 Rs.9300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- plus other allowances admissible from time to time as per applicable rules.
• Age: Min 20 years & Max 28 years as on 01.07.2010 for General candidates(Relaxation-10 years for Physically Handicapped belonging to General Category). For SC/ST/OBC candidate the maximum age relaxation of 10 years shall be in addition to the age relaxation upto a maximum of 5 years in the case of SC/ST category; 3 years in the case of candidate belonging to OBC category. For Departmental candidates the upper age limit is 40 years(age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC will be in addition to upper age limit of 40 years)
• Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from recognized University/ Institution Preference shall be given to candidates having 1-3 years experience in related field.
