Applications are invited in the prescribed format for filling up the following vacancies at:

Occupational Therapist-Post-1

• Pay Scale: 9300-34800 + GP 4200
• Age: Max 30 years
• Qualification:
  1) Inter Science or Pre-Medical
  2) Three Years Degree or Diploma course in Occupational Therapy from a recognized Institution
  3) Three months Internship in the field

Laundry Supervisor-Post-1

• Pay Scale: 5200-20200 + GP 2800
• Age: Max 30 years
• Qualification:
  1) Matriculation
  2) Three years experience in supervisory capacity in a reputable Laundry engaged in Steam Laundry Process
  3) Practical experience of handling / maintaining supervision of mechanical laundry equipment as washers, Hydro extractors, dying tumblers etc
  4) Experience in dry cleaning by machines
  5) Experience of handling large number of factory workers and maintenance of accounts.

Lab Technician-Posts-6

• Pay Scale: 5200-20200 + GP 2800
• Age: Max 30 years
• Qualification: Science Graduate OR Matriculation OR Equivalent qualification with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology with one year experience

Ayurvedic Pharmacist-Post-1

• Pay Scale: 5200-20200 + GP 2800
• Age: Max 30 years
• Qualification:
  1) Matriculation or other equivalent qualification from recognized Board
  2) Diploma in Ayurvedic from recognized Institution
  3) 3 years experience in Ayurvedic Pharmacy in a recognized Institution.

Optometrist / Refractionist-Post-1

• Pay Scale: 5200-20200 + GP 2800
• Age: Max 30 years
• Qualification: Matriculation or Higher Secondary with Diploma in Optometry / Orthoptics.

Audiometry Technician-Post-1

• Pay Scale: 5200-20200 + GP 2800
• Age: Min 21years & Max 28 years
• Qualification: BSc Speech & Hearing or equivalent from a recognized University with 2 years experience in handling Audiometer and hearing aids OR Senior School Certificate with Diploma in communication Disorder with 2 years experience in Audio Metery and 2 years experience in handling Audiometer and hearing aids.

ECG Technician-Posts-5

• Pay Scale: 5200-20200 + GP 2400
• Age: Max 30 years
• Qualification:
  1) Science Graduate preferably with one year experience in handling ECG Machine
  2) Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board with one years experience of handling ECG Machine.

Steward-Post-1

• Pay Scale: 5200-20200 + GP 2400
• Age: Min 21years & Max 28 years
• Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board with 2 years experience in Catering, Kitchen management.

Boiler Attendant-Post-1

• Pay Scale: 5200-20200 + GP 2400
• Age: Max 30 years
• Qualification: Matriculation with Boiler Attendants certificate – class II from the Delhi Administration or any other State. Experience in working of Disinfectors and electorate boiler or similar electrical equipment.

Jr. Radiographer-Posts-5

• Pay Scale: 5200-20200 + GP 2000
• Age: Min 20 years & Max 25 years
• Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board. Diploma or certificate in Radiography of a Recognized Institute.

Lab Assistant-Posts-9

• Pay Scale: 5200-20200 + GP 2000
• Age: Max 25 years ( For Govt Servants / ESIC – 35 years)
• Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.

OT Assistant-Posts-16

• Pay Scale: 5200-20200 + GP 1900
• Age: Max 25 years ( For Govt Servants / ESIC – 35 years)
• Qualification:
  1) Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a Recognized Board.
  2) OT Assistant Training or one year experience in the field.

CSR Assistant-Posts-9

• Pay Scale: 5200-20200 + GP 1900
• Age: Max 25 years ( For Govt Servants / ESIC – 35 years)
• Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board with CSSR Assistant Course with 3 years experience as CSR of a large Hospital.

Linen Keeper / Linen Mistress-Post-1

• Pay Scale: 5200-20200 + GP 1900
• Age: Max 25 years
• Qualification: Matriculation with One year experience in handling of linen in a Hospital or other organization dealing in linen.

Laundry Opertor-Posts-12

• Pay Scale: 4440-7440 + GP 1650
• Age: Max 30 years
• Qualification:
  1) Middle Pass
  2) Ability to maintain simple accounts
  3) Three years experience in ironing of clothes of various types
  4) Experience in operating steam laundry machines or dry cleaning plants.

Cook Mate / Bearer / Masalchi / Dish Washer-Posts-20

• Pay Scale: 4440-7440 + GP 1300
• Age: Max 25 years ( For Govt Servants / ESIC – 35 years)
• Qualification: Middle Standard Pass

Stretcher Bearer / Nursing Orderly / Attendant-Posts-38

• Pay Scale: 4440-7440 + GP 1300
• Age: Min 18 years & Max 25 years
• Qualification:
  1) Middle Standard
  2) Elementary knowledge of first aid
  3)One year experience in handling or dressing wounds for nursing orderly
  4)One year experience in hospital work for Stretcher bearer and attendants.

Relaxation in Age:
a. 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates.
b. 03 years for Other Backward Classes recognized by the Govt. of India (Notified in Central List only applicable). The candidates applying under OBC category must submit the certificate in the prescribed form to be produced by other backward classes applying for appointment to the posts under the Government of India. The candidates belonging to only such castes/communities falling in the central list of the OBC prepared by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India are entitled for reservation in the services under the Government of India. The candidates who shall not be submitting the OBC certificate in the proforma prescribed for appointment to the posts under the Government of India shall not be considered for reservation under OBC category or their application shall be rejected and no request/correspondence will be entertained.
c. In case of Physically Handicapped 10 years.
d. In case of Ex-Servicemen, service rendered in the Armed forces plus 03 years.
e. Age relaxation of 5 years will be available to the Govt. Employee and employees of the Corporation as per rules.

Application Fee:
Exam fee for General and OBC candidates for post carrying Grade Pay upto Rs. 2000 Rs.75/- (Rupees Seventy Five only) Exam fee for General and OBC candidates for post carrying Grade Pay above Rs. 2000 Rs.125/- (Rupees One Hundred Twenty Five only) All SC/ST/PH and female candidates Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five only) Only towards postal charges
(a) Departmental candidates are exempted from payment subject to enclosing certificate of service from the ESI Hospital/ Dispensary.
(b) The fee is required to be paid by all the candidates through Demand Draft issued in favour of ESI Corporation payable at State Bank of India, Rajajinagar V Block Branch, Bangalore -10 only.
(c) The Demand Draft may be drawn on or after the date of publication of advertisement. Payment in other form will not be accepted

How To Apply:
The application in the prescribed proforma given below duly filled in English or Hindi language, duly supported with clear/ legible attested copies of the relevant certificates and marks statements (in English or Hindi) should be sent by Registered post / Speed post suitably subscribed to the following address:- The Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model Hospital, Rajajinagar, Bangalore – 560 010 Envelope containing the application should be super scribed “Application for the post of ________ – 2010.” One envelope should contain one application only.

Candidates have to fill in the application form in their own handwriting with blue or black ball point pen. Original documents / certificates should not be sent with application. The candidate should submit one application only in an envelope. The candidature of those candidates who submit more than one application is liable to be rejected. Applications not in the prescribed proforma as appended below OR incomplete (without photograph also) applications OR unsigned applications OR applications received after the last date of the receipt of applications OR without required enclosures are liable to be rejected and no reason for rejection will be communicated.
