Educational Qualification:

• Secondary from RBSE/ CBSE or

• Any other equivalent Board alongwith ITI (NCVT/ SCVT)/ NAC or

• Equivalent qualification in the trade of Electrician/ Lineman/ SBA/Wireman/ Power Electrician. Only those candidates, who possess minimum  60% marks in respective trade (55% in case of BC/SBC and 50% in case of SC/ST category candidates) shall be eligible to apply for appointment.

Age: On last date of receipt of application form, applicant should have attained minimum age of 18 years and should not be more than 28 years of age.

Selection Procedure:

For selection on the above post, a written competitive examination will be conducted. The description of exam is as under:

How To Apply:

• A candidate can submit application form for the aforesaid post through ONLINE or
• Through OFFLINE, as he/she may consider appropriate. It is however, advised that submitting ONLINE application form is in the interest of the applicants, as the ONLINE system has manifold advantages, some of which are narrated hereunder:

2. There is no need for dispatch of physical application and hence no postage is required for dispatch of applications. As such there is no uncertainty and delay which are common in sending applications in physical form.
3. As the candidate himself/herself enters the details, data entry errors in candidates’ particulars, such as; name, address, category etc. are avoided.
4. The applicants can download call letters directly from Nigam’s WEBSITE.
5. Each applicant receives registration number and passward by autogenerated email immediately after he/she clicks ‘submit’ button in ONLINE application, which is sound proof that his/her data are transmitted properly, whereas in OFFLINE mode receipt of application forms send by post can not be ensured.
6. Applicants can get intimation regarding upload of call letters etc. through email/SMS at appropriate time, so that they can download call letters timely.

• Duration of Online application : 18.08.2011 to 13.09.2011

• Duration of Offline application: The application form through offline i.e. by post or by hand should reach to the officer concerned of respective Nigam on the following address upto 6.00 PM on 13.09.2011. The format of application form can be downloaded from Nigams’ Websites.
